LauraLynn announced as Charity Partner

We are delighted to announce LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, as a charity partner for the Clann na nGael ‘Win A Retro VW Camper’ fundraiser in 2022.

LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice provides specialist palliative and supportive care services to meet the needs of children with life limiting conditions and their families in Ireland.

The LauraLynn Model of Care supports five pillars of children’s hospice care: Direct Care, Family Support, Symptom Management, End-of-Life Care, and Bereavement Support.

The aim of the LauraLynn Model of Care is to ensure that the right child receives the right care, at the right time, in the right place, by the right team.

Closer to home, the Charity gave immense care to Muireann O’Flaherty, daughter of Clann na nGael club members Gina and Declan O’Flaherty, who was diagnosed with an extremely rare neurological disorder, ponto cerebellar hypoplasia, and sadly passed away in 2016. We were delighted to also have Gina with us at our official launch earlier this week and we thank her for the support.

Clann na nGael GAA club in Co. Roscommon are running an online draw for a classic Volkswagen campervan worth over €40,000. This iconic Californian VW camper hails all the way from the 1960’s and is suitable for families, couples or friends to travel and explore.

Tickets cost just €25 each and the draw will take place on the Monday, 25th April 2022. You can also enter multiple times and save by purchasing 3 tickets for €60 or 5 tickets for €100! All funds raised will be used to continue with the club’s ongoing development plans to further develop and enhance facilities at their grounds in the coming years.
